Day 11: Plainview-Old Bethpage 9/11 Memorial Park Dedication (7/10/11)

Hi all, So this post is about a week delayed in coming, but I had to upload the videos from my Flip camera and edit them together. (It's a little choppy, sorry! Rendering it in high quality adds about an hour to the uploading process! On a side note, I'm proud of myself for figuring out how to add title slides in between videos!)

On 7/10, I was fortunate to be home in Plainview-Old Bethpage, performing at the dedication of a 9/11 Memorial Park. I was honored to be a part of this ceremony honoring those who lost their lives on that day, as well as the first responders who were there helping out in any way they could. It's been almost a decade since this horrific event, but the memories and emotions of that day and the ensuing weeks are still as clear as ever. A special thank you goes out to Carol Meschkow and the Concerned Citizens of Plainview-Old Bethpage for putting together this wonderful event. You can read more about the event here.
